born in uganda and raised across africa, the united states, and europe, my life has been shaped by movement and contrast. these experiences continue to inform the emotional tone of my work.

painting began in early adolescence as a way to navigate displacement and belonging. over time it became an inquiry into the human condition, a search for what lies beyond surface and individuality.

years of work in social services with refugees and youth deepened my understanding of transition and resilience. those encounters continue to shape how i see and create.

after a period focused on sculpture, i returned to painting with a renewed attention to the unguarded and raw. the physical knowledge gained through sculpture now informs how i handle paint, surface, and gesture.

my current practice centres on oil painting. through a limited palette and layered surfaces, i explore presence stripped of pretence, where emotion remains direct and alive.

this site is a quiet space to view the work. new pieces are shared here occasionally and privately by request.
